Thermo Ash

Besides beech and oak, ash is one of the most important indigenous deciduous timbers. It is to be found in Europe, most frequently in more northerly regions.

For our application, the wood is treated at over 200°C without chemical additives. This alters the properties of the wood considerably. Resin formation and shrinkage are reduced to a minimum and a high level of resistance to water and soap is achieved. The result of the thermal treatment is a sustainable and durable alternative to hard tropical woods.

How is this possible? The basic ingredient of this light and cooling elixir is pure, clear water. Besides that, it only contains the best additions. For example Hamamelis which is also known as witch hazel. The wizardry of this nut leads to a closing of skin pores, experts also refer to its astringent function. Additionally, extracts from sugar beet and reed soothe the itching and boost the resistance of cells against UV radiation.

No less important is the warm and sensual scent of this exquisite lotion. Gained from the heartwood of the root the sandalwood extract has an antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory effect.
